Where money is made. Engraving Bureau

I met someone that works at the engraving bureau in downtown Washington, DC. Where they print money.  Where the US government prints money. They make cash like no other place. You see others earn money where they literally make money when they are online.

I’ve often wondered what it was like to make money.  The fact is, I’m not looking at it from a counterfeiting stance.  I’m looking at it from a how does money get made stance in the sweet spot.

Short of working for the “Bureau Of Engraving and Printing” you make money at your job.  You make money in your business.  You make money in your own way that doesn’t include printing money.

I spoke to the man whom works in the building as a manager where they literally make money.  I was impressed with he and his wife and their challenges and blessings. We attended the same school and ran track for the same coach.  So there was a connection there.  My conversation with him just made me think more about making money in the sweet spot.

Where money is made: The Sweet Spot

What is the sweet spot.  Its that point of work and joy that translates into success.  The sweet spot is when work seems less like work and more like purpose.  The sweet spot is when you stop dealing with the thought of doing something and you become consciously conscious and start doing what it right.  The sweet spot is when you become unconsciously conscious like Neo in the first matrix as he fought agent smith for the fist time after being killed.  Initially Neo was focus and he realized “hmmm I’m faster than smith”  Then Neo turned to the side and thought “I don’t even have to focus on smith and I’m faster than Agent Smith”.

The sweet spot is crucial to a person really having a a passion for anything they want to do and doing it well.  The fact remains when you are able to be in a place of ease for you, it can and should translate into money.  Its not always about money, but the sweet spot also should allow you to provide for yourself, your family, your life.

Where money is made: Why I Care

I look at business and why people care to make it successful. I care about my blogs success. I care about helping other blogs success.  One of the most blessed experience I had last week was helping a new blogger blog.  Well they didn’t exactly blog but they get started.

I worked with someone in person whom I’ve known for years.  They wanted to get a fresh start in life.  They have had some challenges and were moving in a new direction.  I spoke with them about determining their definitive purpose. We spoke for about an hour.  I essentially counseled them on pursuing their dream.

We spoke about passion power and purpose & how they could make money online.  After they made their decision, I connected them with my affiliate link get a URL.  The fact that I made a little money when they bought their domain and e-mail wasn’t the point.   In fact my affiliate links on this page are with the intention of helping people if they too want to start a blog.  The point in this meeting was helping then pursue their dream.  She said to me you are really go at this and you should help more people do it.

She was brought to tear of joy in our conversation.  She told me a story with enthusiasm and love that reached the depth of my soul.  She had a level of joy and faith that inspired me.  As I left, they told me their testimony of joy and how this was one of the most blessed days and weeks of their life. I didn’t make a huge amount of money on this process.  But I was blessed to be in the sweet spot because I was helping someone in a way that made me say “Wow I could do this all day”.  In fact it really made me say “I don’t even need to think about this, I just naturally do it.”  That to me is the sweet spot where money is made.
